Why this role exists

Every companion is bespoke. Someone has to sit with a real business, understand how it actually works and make MAX work inside it.

What you'll own

  • Discovery and requirements directly with customers.
  • Building and deploying each bespoke companion.
  • The quality of the first thirty days of a customer's experience.

What exceptional looks like

  • Customers describe their companion as a member of their team.
  • You turn a messy business into a working configuration fast.

What we're looking for

  • You are technical, but you speak human.
  • You are comfortable in ambiguity and unfinished specs.
  • You would rather ship and iterate than plan for a month.

Experience

  • Software engineering with direct customer exposure
  • Integrations, APIs, prompt engineering

Nice to have

  • Voice or realtime AI experience
  • Solutions or forward-deployed background
